The Cisco ATA 191 Multiplatform Analog Telephone Adapter transforms traditional telephone, fax, and overhead paging devices into IP devices, enhancing cost-efficiency. By connecting analog devices to Cisco analog telephone adapters, customers can leverage IP telephony applications. The ATA 191 is an ideal solution for customers connecting to enterprise networks, small offices, or cloud-based unified communications services. It features two standard FXS ports, each configurable independently as separate Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) registrations. With the ATA 191, customers can safeguard and enhance their existing analog system investments while facilitating a seamless transition to full voice over IP in a cost-effective and dependable manner. The ATA 191 is compatible with third-party call control systems but does not support Cisco call control systems.
